A fire in Miller Park’s Friday’s Front Row Sports Grill will cause minor changes to game-day operations for tonight’s Milwaukee Brewers game.
The fire, which began in the left-field Friday’s Front Row Sports Grill kitchen and made its way through that corner of the ballpark via ductwork, started around 2 a.m., with fire crews immediately responding to the alarm and putting out the fire.
The damage impacting tonight’s game came from water damage, however. The escalators and elevators in the left-field corner of the ballpark are down, and some meeting rooms were flooded. That set of escalators are a popular way to enter the ballpark — they serve the parking lots to the east of the ballpark — so fans will need to use other escalators and elevators.
