Milwaukee, Helena extend PDC

Helena BrewersThe Milwaukee Brewers and the Helena Brewers (rookie; Pioneer League) announced a two-year player development contract extension through the 2014 season.

“We are excited to extend our player development contract with the Helena franchise,” said Reid Nichols, Brewers Special Assistant to the General Manager/Director of Player Development/Training Center. “The Helena front office, led by President/General Manager Paul Fetz, is professional and responsive, and the fans of Helena have given us great support.”

The Helena Brewers have been a Brewers rookie affiliate since the 2003 season. Helena was also a Milwaukee farm team from 1985 through 2000.

“We are thrilled to continue our working relationship with the Milwaukee Brewers,” said Helena Brewers President/General Manager Paul Fetz. “This has been a partnership that has lasted a very long time, and in our business that is a strong sign that you have a positive, respectful and mutually beneficial relationship.”
