Sens move back to ballpark

Renovations of Metro Park Bank have progressed to the point where the Harrisburg Senators moved operations back to the ballpark.

Renovations of Metro Park Bank have progressed to the point where the Harrisburg Senators (Class AA; Eastern League) moved operations back to the ballpark.

“This is one more step towards us moving into a beautiful new ballpark this April,” said team president Kevin Kulp.  “We’re excited to move into the new building and are beginning our countdown to opening day.”

The new administration building is part of the two-phase renovation to Metro Park Bank.  Along with housing the staff offices, the administrative building will include the new team store, a concession stand, public restrooms that open to the Capital BlueCross Boardwalk, the new Box Office, and First Aid.

Metro Park Bank is currently undergoing renovations as part of phase II of a two-phase project announced in December 2008 by the City of Harrisburg and the Harrisburg Senators.
