The Class AA Southern League has announced its 2019 Hall of Fame Class, featuring a slate of four inductees that range from Roy Halladay to Joe Engel. Comprising the 2019 class is: Knoxville/Tennessee Smokies pitcher Roy Halladay, Chattanooga Lookouts infielder & manager Sal Rende, and Jacksonville Expos outfielder Larry Walker. (more…)
Southern League Unveils 2018 Hall of Fame Class
The Class AA Southern League has unveiled its 2018 Hall of Fame class, which features four new inductees. Comprising the 2018 class alongside current Birmingham Barons radio broadcaster Curt Bloom will be former player and manager Terry Francona as well as the 1984 Southern League Most Valuable Player, Andrés Galarraga. Southern League Announces 2017 Hall of Fame Class
The Southern League is set to welcome three new members to its Hall of Fame, as Tom Glavine, Gabe Kapler, and Tony La Russa have been inducted. The class was chosen by a panel of 20 voters. (more…)
