The Harrisburg Senators (Class AA; Eastern League) are marking 30 years as the Senators with a commemorative logo and a return of an old favorite, Uncle Slam.
When baseball returned to Harrisburg in 1987, the Senators colors were Red and Black. In 2006, the organization introduced a new color scheme still work to this day. At that time, Uncle Slam, who had appeared on the team’s hats since 1994, was retired. Today, the Senators announced that “Uncle Slam” will be featured prominently in a new alternate hat. This hat is the combination of the past and present in color and style.
You can expect more announcements of the team’s anniversary festivities in the next few months.
