Best of the Ballparks: Short Season A finals

Bowman Field

Upsets once again ruled the day in the short-season A Best of the Ballparks competition, as Susquehanna Bank Park at Historic Bowman Field and Monongalia County Ballpark are the two finalists.

Susquehanna Bank Park at Historic Bowman Field (Williamsport Crosscutters) has been the obvious fan favorite in this competition, rolling past higher-seeded ballparks — including Ripken Stadium (Aberdeen IronBirds) to reach the finals. In the other bracket, Monongalia County Ballpark (West Virginia Black Bears) was chosen by fans over Centennial Field  (Vermont Lake Monsters).

We know from marketing/user research stats a third of our readers work in the baseball industry, so we’re tapping into that collective expertise. And we know from our research that a third of our readers sell to the baseball industry, so that expertise will be valuable as well. The remaining third — fans, media, government — will certainly have a different view on things as well. We can’t wait to see what our readers — whom we consider to be the smartest folks in baseball — say about the best of the ballparks.

Voting for this round is now closed.
