It’s a little surprising this hasn’t happened before: for the first time in franchise history the Frisco RoughRiders (Class AA; Texas League) have sold out a game in advance of game day, as tonight’s match against the San Antonio Missions is completely booked.
Every ticket for all available fixed seats, hospitality areas, suites, grass berm and standing room locations has been completely purchased in advance of game day.
“This is a remarkable milestone and a wonderful indication of how our community is embracing the new and improved Frisco RoughRiders and Dr Pepper Ballpark experience,” said RoughRiders CEO and General Partner Chuck Greenberg.
“Due to the tremendous response to Friday’s game from our valued season ticket holders, suite holders, groups and individuals who collectively purchased every seat in the ballpark, it was important for us to make the announcement in advance to avoid any disappointed customers at our Box Office and to provide those fortunate enough to hold a ticket to the game with prior notice to come early, get settled and enjoy one of the best evenings of entertainment in franchise history,” said RoughRiders Executive Vice President & General Manager Jason Dambach.
