Dragons tackle suite upgrades for 2014

Fifth Third Field suites

Luxury suites at Fifth Third Field are being overhauled by the Dayton Dragons (Low Class A; Midwest Leage) this offseason.

The design process began in November and the renovation is expected to be completed by late-March. Fifth Third Field suites are being completely refurbished with new furniture, cabinetry, countertops, flooring including carpeting and ceramic tile, sinks, and some new electrical and plumbing work. Suites are also being repainted. Work should be completed at the end of March, and the project carries a price tag of $500,000.

The suite renovation is a continuation of major improvements to Fifth Third Field. The Dragons completed a complete reconstruction of the playing surface, including drainage and irrigation, prior to the 2012 season. Improvements have also been made to concession stand operations at the point of purchase.

“Our luxury suites are a big part of the experience at Fifth Third Field,” said Dragons President Robert Murphy. “The renovation is a major upgrade in the fan experience for those viewing the game on the club level and demonstrates our commitment to maintaining and improving one of the finest Minor League Baseball facilities in the country.”

Dragons luxury suites amenities include:

  • Exclusive ballpark entrance
  • Semi-private restrooms
  • Heating and air conditioning
  • A mini-refrigerator
  • LCD flat screen TV with Cable
  • Leather furniture
  • High-top tables with bar stools
  • VIP day-of-game service on club level
