The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (Class AA; Southern League) will have their own bat dog this season, as the team is set to welcome Sgt. Scampi. Sgt. Scampi, who will debut at the Jumbo Shrimp game this Friday, was signed from K9s For Warriors, and will appear for a designated half inning at each Friday home game. (more…)
