Bisons Desire PDC Extension with Blue Jays
The Buffalo Bisons (Class AAA; International League) and the Toronto Blue Jays are entering the fourth season of their affiliation, and that relationship could continue. IronPigs Introduce New Majestic Uniforms
A first-of-its kind uniform deal in Minor League Baseball is now official, as the Lehigh Valley IronPigs (Class AAA; International League) will now sport Majestic Athletic uniforms. Majestic, which outfits all 30 Major League Baseball squads, is not only equipping the IronPigs with brand new uniform designs, but is providing the team with a Flex Base jersey style. (more…)

Rock Climbing Wall Coming to Lexington
Following a contest with a local school, the Lexington Legends (Low A; Sally League) will install a rock climbing wall at Whitaker Bank Ballpark. As part of their Stache Tank competition, the Legends accepted design submissions from teams at the STEAM Academy in Lexington, with the winning entry coming from a group of six students. (more…)
New for 2017: Frisco College Baseball Classic
A new college tournament will hit the Minor League Baseball landscape next spring, when the Frisco RoughRiders (Class AA; Texas League) host the first Frisco College Baseball Classic. Running from March 3-5, this tournament at Dr Pepper Ballpark will feature four NCAA Division I programs: the University of Arkansas Razorbacks, University of Arizona Wildcats, University of Nebraska Cornhuskers, and Oklahoma State University Cowboys. A New View: Fightin Phils Add Drone
Technology has traditionally allowed fans to catch a new view of the action, but the Reading Fightin Phils (Class AA; Eastern League) are upping the ante with a drone camera.
