Chilly Scenes of Winter at Fenway Park

Red Bull Cracked Ice

The Boston Red Sox spring-training supplies just arrived at JetBlue Park in Florida, but it’s still winter in New England, and back home Fenway Park is hosting the Red Bull Crashed Ice competition.

The competition began earlier this week and runs through tonight. Yesterday saw time trials, qualifiers, the Freestyle Championship and Junior Cup Finals, while tonight sees the Men’s & Women’s World Championship.

All in all, more than 175 Ice Cross Downhill athletes from all over the world raced on a custom-built ice track at Fenway Park for day one of Red Bull Crashed Ice Boston. The action is fast (we’d recommend tuning in), and Fenway Park makes for a scenic backdrop to the action. If you go, the ballpark opens at 5:30 p.m. Eastern.

If you can’t make it tonight to Fenway Park, Red Bull Crashed Ice action will be broadcast live from Boston on Red Bull TV at 8 p.m. Eastern or Fox Sports 1 at 10 p.m. Eastern. Red Bull TV is also distributed online and via apps at redbull.tv.
