Jackson Generals Announce RFP for Ballpark Naming Rights

Jackson Generals

The Jackson Generals (Class AA; Southern League) are seeking a new naming rights partner for The Ballpark at Jackson, as the club has created a request for proposal (RFP) for the opportunity.

The 6,000-seat Ballpark at Jackson opened in 1998, and has hosted the Generals–who were originally known as the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx–throughout its history.

“We have a huge opportunity for a brand to be associated with our ballpark and this is truly a unique way to gauge interest on an unprecedented scale,” Generals general manager Nick Hall said in a press statement.  “I can’t wait to see the proposals we receive and grow our corporate partnership base during the process.”

According to their announcement, the Generals will accept questions about the RFP until December 22. Final responses to the RFP are to be submitted by January 5, 2018.

The Ballpark at Jackson was originally known as Pringles Park. It retained that name through the 2012 season, but underwent a change leading up to the 2013 campaign after Pringles passed on an extension of its naming-rights agreement.
