We have a new Schaumburg Boomers GM, as the independent Frontier League team names Michael Larson, as of late an AGM with the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks (independent; American Association), to the post.
With the RedHawks, Larson served as Assistant General Manager and Director of Ticket Operations. Prior to working with the RedHawks, he worked as the Director of Food and Beverage with the Idaho Falls Chukars (Rookie; Pioneer League) and spent two years in Concordia College’s Sports Information Department. Larson received his M.S. degree from Georgia Southern University and his B.S. from the University of Minnesota, Crookston.
“I am thrilled to join the incredible team at the Schaumburg Boomers,” Larson said. “I hope to continue to build upon the incredible fan base, stadium and championship-level talent both on the field and in the front office of this world-class organization.”
