August Publications was formed in 2003 with the launch of Ballpark Digest. Since that time the company has grown from a single employee working out of a home to a diversified publishing firm featuring Websites, books and other merchandise.

Our motto is simple: We enjoy doing cool things and are overjoyed we can make a living doing so.

Our company's offerings are broken along three lines:

Our sports sites include Ballpark Digest, Arena Digest, Soccer Stadium Digest, Football Stadium Digest and Spring Training Online. Our first four books, The Complete Guide to Spring Training (now in its second edition),  The Complete Guide to Big League Ballparks, Homer: The Small-Town Baseball Odyssey, and Cradle of the Game: Baseball and Ballparks in North Carolina, are geared toward sports fans as well.

We've recently entered the outdoors market. Our first outdoors site is Yellowstone Insider, a complete guide to America's first national park. We have several other outdoors sites in the works.

Our third line covers green and sustainable practices and technology. Our first site in the field, Green Sports Venues, has already caused a stir in the sports world by pointing out how green practices make good business sense.
