Arkansas Baseball Sets Season Ticket Sales Record

Arkansas Razorbacks

The coming season should see well-attended games at Baum Stadium, as the Arkansas Razorbacks have set a new record for season ticket sales.

The start of the 2018 college baseball season is just weeks away, and many programs are preparing for their first games. At Arkansas, the baseball program has received a boost through a sharp spike in season ticket sales that have resulted in a new record.

With over 5,700 season tickets sold, Arkansas has not only achieved a substantial increase over last season, but has broken a record that was previously set in 2013. More from The Arkansas Democrat Gazette:

The Razorbacks have sold 5,783 season tickets, an increase of 10.1 percent over last year when 5,252 season tickets were sold.

The previous record for season tickets sold was 5,713 in 2013 when Arkansas was ranked No. 1 by multiple polls in the preseason and coming off a trip to the College World Series the previous year.

Arkansas baseball will start the 2018 season at Baum Stadium on February 16, when it begins a three-game series against Bucknell.
