A milestone this weekend for the Richmond Flying Squirrels (Class AA; Eastern League): the front office is poised to welcome its three-millionth fan in team history.
The Squirrels enter play Saturday night with a total of 2,992,406 fans since the team’s inception back in 2010. The lucky three millionth fan who walks into the Squirrely gates will be lavished with prizes that include 2017 season tickets & parking pass, merchandise and a customized authentic Squirrels jersey. The esteemed guest will join Rodney Martin (two millionth fan on 6/28/14) and Ben Young (one millionth fan on 5/11/12) in the exclusive club as the Flying Squirrels wrap up their seventh season in the Eastern League.
