We have personnel news today from the Boise Hawks (Short Season A; NorthwesBoise Hawks logot League) and the Hagerstown Suns (Low A; Sally League).

In Boise, the Hawks have named Mike Van Hise as their new Assistant General Manager. Van Hise has spent 11 years in minor league baseball, with the last two as the Director of Ticket Sales for the Hawks’ sister team, the Augusta GreenJackets (Low A; Sally League).

“Having Mike on board in Boise is a great addition for our front office,” said Hawks General Manager Bob Flannery. “Mike has gained valuable experience in Augusta and in his stint with Lakewood. We are looking forward to his contributions to the club,” noted Flannery.

The Hawks have also hired Brooke Bedgood as the team’s Corporate Sales Manager. Bedgood had worked previously with the Atlanta Falcons and the San Diego Padres. Additionally, Jon Jensen has been brought on as an Account Executive after spending the 2015 season with the Hawks in a seasonal role. Finally, Eneko Bereziartua, a graduate of Boise’s Bishop Kelly High School, has been promoted as the team’s full-time Box Office Manager.

“Our front office is gearing up for what should be another fun and exciting season in the Treasure Valley this summer. Our staff has grown over the past few years and this will have a positive impact in everything we do,” said Flannery.
