This may end up being one of the most unique seating areas in pro baseball, as the Long Island Ducks (independent; Atlantic League) are teaming up with a local brewery to offer 12 luxury seats in a giant beer can.
Sponsored by the Roscoe Beer Company, makers of Trout Town hand-crafted beer, the “Trout Town Fan Can” will be available for rental at all Ducks home games during the 2015 season.
“This is an exciting new seating area for fans that will elevate the Ducks experience to a new level,” said Ducks President/GM Michael Pfaff. “For fans that are interested in watching the game from a whole new perspective, this is the right choice to make on game day.”
The “Trout Town Fan Can” features 12 luxurious theater style padded seats, complete with beverage holders, located inside the shape of a Trout Town beer can. The area also offers an air-conditioned atmosphere as well as a rain/sun awning for added comfort. The “Fan Can” will be located along the main concourse of Bethpage Ballpark at the top of sections along the first base/right field line.
