Introducing Soccer Stadium Digest

Soccer Stadium DigestWe have another company announcement today: now live is our newest professional-sports website, Soccer Stadium Digest.

Yesterday we announced the launch of a history project with the NY-Penn League (thanks for all the positive comments on that project by the way — yes, we are also excited!) and hinted at further announcements. More are on the way next week. Today’s unveiling is of Soccer Stadium Digest, which will cover the business and culture of pro and college soccer, including MLS, NASL, USL Pro and the World Cup. Like its sister sites – Ballpark Digest, Spring Training Online and Arena DigestSoccer Stadium Digest is the go-to information source for professionals and fans alike.

The new site is solely sponsored by Populous.

Soccer is clearly on the rise in the United States, and we’re thrilled to share that excitement. It’s a sport that draws the most passionate fans in the world, and the business of soccer has never been healthier. There are also a lot of cool stadium designs on tap: yesterday, for example, Orlando City unveiled some notable plans for a 2016 venue. When appropriate, we’ll combine coverage on both sites: next season will see the Tulsa and Louisville ballparks hosting USL Pro teams, a future New York MLS team will be playing its first three seasons at the new Yankee Stadium, and the future of historic Al Lang Field in downtown St. Petersburg is tied to the NASL’s Tampa Bay Rowdies, just to name a few. In these cases, you can expect to see coverage on both sites.
