Ports unveil 10th anniversary ballpark logo

Stockton Ports commemorative logo

Wow. It seems like yesterday Banner Island Ballpark opened, but the Stockton Ports (High Class A; California League) are marking 10 seasons there with a year-long celebration, beginning with a commemorative logo.

“We are excited to make the announcement today of our yearlong celebration of 10 years at Banner Island Ballpark,” said Ports President Pat Filippone. “Banner Island Ballpark is a special place that has become the local community’s favorite gathering spot to relax, cheer on the Ports, meet friends and family, and conduct business in a community friendly atmosphere that the Ports are proud to present and provide.  The unveiling of our 2015 logo celebrating this occasion is the first announcement of many to come to integrate our patrons into the celebration.  Stay tuned for more!”

The logo, created by San Diego based sports branding company Brandiose, consists of Stockton Ports blue and Stockton Ports red, along with a display of Banner Island Ballpark’s most unique feature, the Jackson Rancheria Back Porch.

“Banner Island Ballpark is one of the most picturesque parks in America, and fans are going to love what’s in store for the 10th season celebration,” said Jason Klein with Brandiose.

Fans will see the logo utilized throughout the 2015 season in particular on all Stockton Ports on-field hats utilized by players. Exclusive merchandise, including the hats, will be available in the Stockton Ports’ team store in March.
