Angels bring in Legends, dump Aramark as concessionaire: report

Los Angeles Angels of AnaheimThe Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim are reportedly dumping longtime concessionaire Aramark and bringing in Legends Sports and Entertainment to run Angel Stadium food and beverage.

Legends Sports is owned by the New York Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys, running food and beverage at Yankee Stadium and AT&T Stadium (formerly Cowboys Stadium), as well as Constellation Field, home of the Sugar Land Skeeters (independent; Atlantic League). Headed by longtime sports exec Dave Checketts, the firm also offers consulting and research services.

The news was first reported in the Los Angeles Times by Bill Shaikin.
