We have the perfect holiday present for the baseball fan: the print version of The Baseball Thesaurus, Jesse Goldberg-Strassler’s wonderful guide to the language of baseball, is now available for shipping.
The book has been available in an eBook for a month or so (it’s currently in the top-10 baseball-history books for Kindle readers), and the print edition is now available for order, either from August Publications or Amazon.com. The reader reviews have been great — 4.8 out of 5 stars on Amazon.com — and the folks who were kind enough to review the book before publication were equally kind. Wrote Dan Dickerson, Voice of the Detroit Tigers:
“What an incredible resource – I can’t get over the amount of work and the detail that went into this book. A great window on baseball’s lexicon from days of yore to the game today. This book won’t be far from my side next season.”
