Available in Print: The Baseball Thesaurus

Baseball ThesaurusWe have the perfect holiday present for the baseball fan: the print version of The Baseball Thesaurus, Jesse Goldberg-Strassler’s wonderful guide to the language of baseball, is now available for shipping.

The book has been available in an eBook for a month or so (it’s currently in the top-10 baseball-history books for Kindle readers), and the print edition is now available for order, either from August Publications or Amazon.com. The reader reviews have been great — 4.8 out of 5 stars on Amazon.com — and the folks who were kind enough to review the book before publication were equally kind. Wrote Dan Dickerson, Voice of the Detroit Tigers:

“What an incredible resource – I can’t get over the amount of work and the detail that went into this book. A great window on baseball’s lexicon from days of yore to the game today. This book won’t be far from my side next season.”

If you’re in the greater Lansing area, Jesse will be signing copies at Everybody Reads. You can learn more about the event at the bookstore’s Facebook page.

You can read more about the book and author Jesse Goldberg-Strassler at the August Publications website.
