New Cubs spring-training complex

Mesa officials don’t want the ASU Sun Devils to abandon the idea of sharing a new spring-training facility with the Chicago Cubs, so they are initiating talks between the two sides.

In response, ASU officials started shopping around for a new home, which could be Phoenix Muni if the A’s leave.
