OKC RedHawks, Gameday enter merchandising deal

Oklahoma City RedHawksThe Oklahoma City RedHawks (Class AAA; Pacific Coast League) engaged Gameday Merchandising to oversee the team’s merchandising operations under the terms of a multi-year agreement.

The Colorado-based company will mainly focus on merchandise operations at RedHawks Field at Bricktown, but both parties will also work together on additional revenue and branding opportunities.

“Gameday Merchandising has a proven track record for providing great products and outstanding service to fans at the venues where they operate,” RedHawks President and General Manager Michael Byrnes said.  “Since acquiring the RedHawks in the fall of 2010, Mandalay Baseball Properties has focused on improving the fan experience at RedHawks games and this partnership will allow us to extend that into the merchandise piece of our business.”

The RedHawks are the first Minor League Baseball team to work with Gameday Merchandising, which also runs retail operations for the Oklahoma City Thunder at Chesapeake Energy Arena.
