The Acadiana Cane Cutters will be playing out of Lafayette’s Fabacher Field in the summer-collegiate Texas Collegiate League beginning in the 2011 season.
The team will be owned by Baseball Ventures of Louisiana, comprised of Richard and Sandi Chalmers, David and Leslie Alwell and Rudy Bourg; former MLB catcher Paul Bako will assist.
The addition of the Cane Cutters puts the Texas Collegiate League lineup at eight teams.
