Laredo makes progress on new ballpark, hires HKS for planning

The Laredo City Council retained HKS and a local firm to work on the specs of a new ballpark, presumably for a United League Baseball team.

The Laredo City Council retained HKS and local firm Humphries and Sanchez Architects to work on the specs of a new ballpark, presumably for a independent United League Baseball team.

No budget yet for the 8,000-10,000-seat facility envisioned to sit near the Laredo Entertainment Center.

It's been a slow process in Laredo: there's been talk of a new ballpark for years, and at one time the Broncos announced the project was moving forward.
