Construction of a new downtown ballpark for the Bowling Green Hot Rods (Low Class A; Sally League) is ahead of schedule, as construction crews work to complete the facility in time for the team's debut on April 17, 2009.
Construction of a new downtown ballpark for the Bowling Green Hot Rods (Low Class A; Sally League) is ahead of schedule, as construction crews work to complete the facility in time for the team's debut on April 17, 2009. The most recent big deadline to be met: the turf was laid down two weeks early, giving it plenty of time to take root. For the record, the turf comes from Maryland and is Patriot Bermuda over-seeded with rye.
